LOTR fans come forth, we have a release you’re going to like. The Hunt for Gollum cost just £3,000 to put together, compared with the £190million spent on making the three The Lord Of The Rings films, and has been made by the fans for the fans. I can’t wait to check this out!

Quality: Quality is pretty good, no complaints here – although I think many will opt for the HD YouTube link

Synopsis: The script is adapted from elements of the appendices of The Lord of the Rings. Quality: Quality is as you would expect from a DVDRip.

Synopsis: Retired sea captains Zeb (David Carradine), Jerry (Rip Torn) and Perez (Bruce Dern) live together in 1905 Cape Cod. Deciding that they need a woman’s touch around the place but don’t want to pay for a maid, the men decide to place an ad for a mail-order bride. Jerry, the loser of a coin toss, is the one designated to marry whomever answers the ad, but all plans go by the wayside when the very appealing Martha Snow (Mariel Hemingway) is the one who steps off the train and into the men’s lives.

VoMiT doing what they do best with the release of another non-rated indie movie about a man coming to terms with life after his mother’s death. It may have some potential if you enjoy movies with a quirky edge or just want to kill some time. Enjoy!

MisFitZ bring us this nice looking indie film which has been shown at quite a few film festivals. I know a lot of people prefer the non-hollywood based releases, and you can sometimes find some really amazing cinema from them, and this release looks like it could deliver. This is a movie that promises a departure from the typical viking fare which could mean any number of things both good and bad. I have not heard of this flick before now so some feedback (in the comments section if you know of it or have seen it) would be welcome.

Following that rather “interesting” horror flick, we now have something a bit darn sad but could be an interesting release none the less. I remember just recently I saw a poster with a picture of Steven Fry, and below it said: “1 in 4 people, like me, have a mental health problem…“. A figure I find quite remarkable, and so could be good to watch – especially to be able to help spot the signs in friends and family so they can get the help they need.

Quality: “All good in ‘da hood!” as they say. A nice DVDRip…

Interesting release for you here, I wouldn’t expect too much however as this is about as much of a low budget movie you can get, and apparently this movie was shot in less than 24 hours. All the same…enjoy!

Quality: Quality isn’t too fab, but going on the budget I would assume it’s more down to shoddy equipment than a bad rip.

Synopsis: The night seems like any other for Sean and Ed, filled with rejection. That is until a half eaten woman runs into the bar and warns them about zombies outside. Once they lock the bar up they start dropping like flies. They soon notice though that not everything is what it seems and not all people are who you think they are.

OC Babes and the Slasher of Zombietown is a low budget horror/comedy that is full of horror pop culture. the film is intercut with George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead to help tell the story.
